Artist's Comments

SO, this is Sparrow. She is a character of mine from the Edit: (Thanks Lily) Crystal Hearts RPG on Moon Dust Cafe. She is a Soulbearer and carries within her a piece of the wind deity. Although it has not happened in the storyline yet, I had the idea of invoking the Soul within her and it manifesting in a physical form to protect her.

The idea stuck me as having a kind of witchblade quality to it and since my newest style seems to have a ting of Turner. . . it seemed fitting.

Oh yes, I did just notice during the upload that I forgot to ink the eyelashes. :P I'll have to fix that.

And the very soft pencil marks on her forehead are part of a tattoo that appears when she invokes her powers. I didn't want to ink that as I need it to be nearly flesh-tone-ish-kinda.

Color if you will. . I won't get to it for a while.

She looks both pretty and deadly. ^^ It's nice to have a good refrence of what Sparrow looks like. And the amount of detail is very nice.

Now I have to sit down eventually and do a picture of fully-powered Taliesin....

Thanks V-babe! I don't draw males well at all - I'm working very hard on it. But as soon as I do, Taliesin and all of Mimi's hotties are on the list!

^^ You know, I am totally loving Aethelward in the RP. He's just such a sweet guy. So huggable. ^^

I have this desire to draw a little chibi comic with some of the characters....probably using the 'spoony bard' comment from FF4 as a thing that someone used to tick off Taliesin.....
